Niagara Run '25

Our tenth year! Gonna be great. Doesn't seem that long ago, one August afternoon a text went out: Drive down the Niagara Escarpment and get a glass of wine and a bite to eat? It has been fascinating to watch this event evolve.

This year, seven starting Audi dealerships, we gather near the lift bridge on Lake Ontario, then a spirited drive up and down and left and right along the Niagara Escarpment. Probably a stop or two for fresh fruit and a couple of collectables shops. We'll take in the renovated Thorold tunnel on our way to the Niagara District Airport - YCM! After such a resounding success last year (thank you, Cristina!), we've rented the airport runway again for an hour+ of speed runs.

(Side Note: This year - I'll say, following our great time last year - the airport has more automotive events booked there than airplane events!)

A fun time for all! Take your car down the runway once or twice to see what it's like, plan on multiple runs, or just watch. Load up your favourite timer/GPS app and let's see who's the fastest. Oh, it isn't a race: one car at a time.

Then, over to our good friend (and member) Klaus Reif's winery for a glass of wine, some great food as always, tours, tastings, a bit of a show, yakking with some of our sponsors (including Audi Canada), and lots of bench racing. We've even got a few people staying over in Niagara on the Lake - hey, why not? As usual, club swag, a silent auction, and we're working on a few trailered-in show cars.

It is a member-only paid event - our fundraiser for the year. Our club is open and welcoming to all who are Audi owners or interested, VAG owners or enthusiasts, or simply those who enjoy our company.
